Disaggregation by student characteristics is based on enrollments rather than distinct students.
Incomplete grades are included in Course Success and Completed Transfer Level Math and English in the District in the First Year but are not included in Earned Nine or More Career Education Units Within the District in a Single Year, Successfully Completed Unit Thresholds in Fall Term, Successfully Completed Unit Thresholds in the Selected Year, and Average Number of Units Accumulated by Associate Degree Earners, due to how the underlying data elements are constructed.
At the college level, course success rate will only include courses taken by a student at colleges where that student was enrolled as a first-time General Admit in a primary term. At other locale levels (i.e., district, microregion, macroregion, statewide), course success rate will include other colleges where a student may have taken courses in their first-year but not a college where the student had their first-time General Admit enrollment in the CA community college system.

Enrollments counted to determine course success rate met all of the following criteria:
Count of enrollments
Enrollment defined as a unique combinations of student, locale, CB00, XB00, GI03
AND with passing grades
[First character of SX04 IN (A, B, C, P) OR
First two characters of SX04 IN (IA, IB, IC) OR
First three characters of SX04 IN (IPP)]
AND for credit courses only
AND CB04 IN (C, D)
AND within one year after first term of entry into the cohort with preceding summer term enrollment treated like fall term enrollment
WHERE GI03 is within one year starting from first term of credit General Admit enrollment in the district
WHERE YY5 is same as YY7 and YY6 is same as YY8]
AND at the selected locale
