542C (1): All Cohort Students Who Completed Transfer-Level Math Within the District in Their First Year from First Term or Within Three Years from First Term for Credit ESL Students

Among students in the cohort, the proportion who completed transfer-level math in their first academic year of credit enrollment from first term within the district allowing for students who ever enrolled in credit ESL to complete transfer-level Math and English within three complete years from first term in the district

Guided Pathways first-year momentum metric
The version of this metric that aligns with Student Centered Funding Formula (SCFF) requires that students complete transfer math in the first year regardless of a student's starting term. In addition, only courses coded on 1701.00 are included for Math.
Incomplete grades are included in Course Success and Completed Transfer Level Math and English in the District in the First Year but are not included in Earned Nine or More Career Education Units Within the District in a Single Year, Successfully Completed Unit Thresholds in Fall Term, Successfully Completed Unit Thresholds in the Selected Year, and Average Number of Units Accumulated by Associate Degree Earners, due to how the underlying data elements are constructed.
Includes completion of the courses in the same district only
CB25 COURSE-GENERAL-EDUCATION-STATUS has been added in summer 2019 to account for courses that are not listed on the TOP codes indicated in the calculation above but that fulfill general education requirements for mathematics/quantitative reasoning or English composition in the context of transfer, degree, and certificate program.

Had an enrollment in a transfer level math course in the district

AND allow for successful completion of transfer level Math course one year from first cohort term with preceding summer term enrollment treated like fall term enrollment
WHERE GI03 is within one year starting from first term of credit general admit enrollment in the district
WHERE YY5 is same as YY7 and YY6 is same as YY8]

 

OR if the student had a credit ESL enrollment in the district
