A student’s academic year of exit is the end of the academic year in which they were last enrolled in the community college system
Unemployment Insurance data contain wages only for those employed in an occupation or industry covered by Unemployment Insurance in California. This excludes individuals employed by the military or federal government, and those who are self-employed, employed out of state, unemployed, or not in the workforce after completion of an award

Calculate median annual earnings three years after exit, for 203S Students Who Exited Higher Education who are not enrolled in any postsecondary three years after selected or exiting year from community college:
Annualize earnings in the second fiscal quarter three years after the academic year of exit
Multiply quarterly fiscal wages by four, using the quarterly wages in the fourth fiscal quarter of the calendar year, three years after the year of exit
AND adjust for inflation
AND use the COLA table in the notes to adjust for inflation
AND count students at any college and on any TOP code where a student took 0.5 or more units or noncredit courses in the selected year
