128A: AE Program: Training to Support Child School Success
Among all Participants (202A), the number enrolled in programs that provide education and training to adults, typically parents and community members, to help school-aged children succeed in school. These courses are mostly found in K12 and may take the form of short-term courses or workshops devoted to understanding school policy, child school assessment preparation (test-taking strategies and standards), parent-teacher relationships, or other related topics.

The number of learners who had one or more hours of instruction or positive attendance hours, across all enrollments in an adult education program, and / or who received services at a K12 adult school or noncredit services at a community college. This metric is also referred to as "Adults Served."
Note: Due to the continued challenges noncredit community college institutions have faced in reporting student attendance hours for noncredit distance education courses, the hour threshold requirement in this metric is not enforced for noncredit community college students during spring 2020 and and all terms in 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24. An enrollment record in an adult education program is used as a proxy for the hour threshold component of this metric during the timeframe.

Among all Reportable Individuals (200A), the number who had one or more hours in an adult education program and received orientation, assessment, academic and/or career counseling, referral, or other participant related support services.
